In the spring of 2020 my customer called me to talk about upgrading her deck and adding a party deck. She was tired of her old worn deck and a dilapidated eye sore gravel hot tub pad. I was able to determine after inspecting her current deck ( a 12 ft x 12ft builder deck) that we could keep the joists and frame with only minor reinforcements. This saved enough money to add a lower massive 16 ft x 16ft party deck !

The dog loves to dig and get under the deck and make a big mess, and Charlene asked for the deck to be fully enclosed!  The upper deck was rebuilt with new deck boards, a new railing and fully enclosed. The “party deck” was constructed 16ft wide x 16ft long, and due to the slope of the yard a new railing was installed on the back to prevent party goers from falling off. The lower deck was fully enclosed and a new set of stairs dropping from the upper deck to the lower deck were added. The final touch was 2 custom “Mr.Flood’s” Planter boxes installed on the side of the deck where fresh mint is grown for use in summer time mojito’s!
